Sponsor a Young Writer
Almost half of the students attending the Tennessee Young Writers' Workshop receive some form of financial assistance through the generosity of Humanities Tennessee donors.
You can sponsor a young writer in a number of ways:
- Donate $35 or more to Humanities Tennessee and designate that you want your gift to support the Tennessee Young Writers' Workshop scholarship fund.
- Donate $300 or more and provide a partial scholarship to a deserving student.
- Provide a full tuition scholarship of $650 for students who would otherwise be unable to attend the workshop.
When you sponsor a student with a gift of $300 or more, we will send you a sample of their writing from the workshop — you will be amazed at the high quality of the work these students do.
